Another example of one of my favorite S&W's...4" barrel, blued, non-original PC Magnas...And proving once more the value of a S&WHF Letter of Authenticity, this one comes with provenance showing it was ordered along with several other identical revolvers for use by the Chicago Police Department... This gun is double lettered by S&WHF...Factory invoice & shipping record included...
This Combat Masterpiece was acquired with the PC Magnas shown on the gun...They were replaced by the era correct flat bottom Magnas pictured directly below...
